Corporate Overview
The Kennedy Global School of Business, Inc. is a stock corporation under the auspices of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and is composed of Filipinos engaged in different areas of endeavours. It is an offshoot of the Kennedy Review Center, which was eventually incorporated using the same name. It used to offer only review programs for the US National Council Licensure Examinations (NCLEX) for Registered Nurses, and, after a few years, eventually pioneered the One-Year US-Adapted Program for Practical Nursing in the country vis-à-vis the two-year program for the same course offered by other schools. After a brief intra-corporate hitch, the review center spinned off into what is now the Kennedy Global School of Business, Inc. (or “KGS,” for brevity).
Other than NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN review programs and the one-year US-adapted Practical Nursing (PN) course, KGS now additionally offers a new course on Home Management Technology, designed for those who intend to go abroad as certified domestic helps and for those who wish to remain in the country under an upgraded domestic help status. Additional programs in the areas of broadcasting, entrepreneurship, and others, are in the making and will soon be offered as well.
Suffice it to say though that KGS is now the leading institution in the country for the one-year Practical Nursing program and has a 97% passing rate for its NCLEX reviewees.
THE OFFICES
The main office of KGS is located at the first, second and third floors of Parc House II Tower, EDSA, Guadalupe, Makati City.
The US Corporate Office is situated at 340 E Warm Spring
Road, Suite 3-B, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119 USA. The location serves as the company’s pilot school operation. It houses the corporate and administration offices, and several academic classrooms for its Makati campus.
OFFICERS
KGS was founded by an American-Filipino businesswoman, Ms. Cecille S. Kennedy. Ma’am Cecille, as she is fondly known, is both a registered nurse and a practical nurse herself. She serves as the Chairperson of KGS. The President and Vice-President for Business Development are both practicing lawyers, the VP-Finance is rich in experience on Registrar and Administration work while the VP for Academic Affairs and Dean as well is an RN and holds a Masters Degree in Nursing Administration and a CGFNS and IELTS passer herself.
