Ms. Cecille S. Kennedy
Chairman of the Board / President

Ms. Cecille S. Kennedy is the Founder, Chairman of the Board and President of Kennedy Global School of Business Inc. A nurse by profession, she first worked in various hospitals and health centers in the United States. Later, she built her own business in US, the Westside Medical Office where she hired medical doctors with different specialties. She also put up her own blood transfusion service under the name of Houston Aphaeresis Inc. She developed a machine called Baylor Cell Saver for Autologous transfusion that is being used now all over the world. She also attended school for Public Broadcasting, Reporting, Scriptwriting and Directing at Liverpool, England.

Inspired by a great purpose, and driven by her love for a noble ambition to help fellow nurses achieve their dream, and those who aspire to become nurses, Ms. Kennedy returned to the Philippines and founded the Kennedy Review Center which is the forerunner of the KGSBI. She developed a review course for NCLEX-RN/PN and introduced a US adapted Practical Nursing Program which at that time was unpopular among Filipinos.

She was instrumental in introducing the Practical Nursing profession in the country and the procedures in applying for eligibility to challenge the NCLEX-PN in order to be licensed as Practical Nurse and worked as such in the United States. With her leadership, KGSBI was the first Philippine school offering Practical Nursing to attain a 97.27% passing rate for the NCLEX-PN.

Ms. Pilar Maria Karen J. Sun
Vice-President for Academic Affairs

Ms. Pilar Maria Karen J. Sun is a member of the Board of Directors of Kennedy Global School of Business, Inc. She holds vital positions in the company as Vice-President for Academic Affairs, School Dean and Head of the school’s NCLEX review program. Considered a breakthrough in her career, she is responsible in the development and implementation of the KGSBI’s blended/interactive PN System, a method of administering Practical Nursing which attracted both local and foreign students, mostly holders of first baccalaureate degrees and who want to become professional nurses.

Ms. Sun, is a Philippine registered nurse, CGFNS, NCLEX-RN and IELTS passer. She has finished her Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) from the Philippine Women’s University and University of La Salette. She received her degree on Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), also from the University of La Salette. An alumnus of De Ocampo Memorial College in Manila, she was awarded Excellence in Clinical Efficiency, Leadership and Service.

Her major contribution to her alma mater was putting up the school’s clinic while she was the Nursing Student Council President.

Prior to her joining the nursing profession, Ms. Sun was graduated Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Marketing and Management from the Assumption College, San Lorenzo Village, Makati City. She is a member of the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA), the Association of Nursing Service Administators of the Philippines (ANSAP) and Vice-President of the National Council of Practical Nursing Schools of the Philippines (NCPNSP). In retrospect, she has enjoyed years of combining her business management expertise and the provision of an excellent practical nursing educational system to the company’s seven (7) national franchisees. Ms. Sun’s goal is to continuously encourage and develop deserving nursing students to succeed while inculcating a caring attitude as they are molded into becoming the future competent professional nurses that we can be proud of, be it locally or globally.

Mr. Gerald B. Decano
Vice President for Finance and Personnel

Mr. Gerald B. Decano sits in the Board of Directors of Kennedy Global School of Business Inc. (KGSBI) as Corporate Treasurer. He holds the position of Vice President for Finance, and heads the Department of Human Resource and the Registrar’s Office of the school. He helped build the Kennedy Global School of Business, which is the offshoot of Kennedy Review Center. He was instrumental in incorporating KGSBI and registering its programs with TESDA. He is the copyright holder of the Practical Nursing Curricular Program which is presently being used by KGS School of Practical Nursing.

He has a wide array of knowledge in running a learning institution, having previously worked in a college and holding various positions and performed tasks which are imperative to the management of a school. He used to teach academic subjects such as Philippine Government and Constitution, History, Economics and Logic. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sto Tomas in Manila where he studied as a working student. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of the East.

Atty. Jose Ramon R. Remollo
Corporate Secretary

Atty. Jose Ramon R. Remollo is a Director, the Corporate Secretary and Vice President for Legal Affairs of Kennedy Global School of Business Inc. He was admitted to the practice of law in 1989 and has become a seasoned lawyer, specializing in litigation (civil, criminal and administrative), labor and corporate law practice, foreign investments, taxation, transportation and telecommunications, and cross-border arbitrations. He set up his own law practice in March 1993 and founded what has now become the Remollo Raz and Redillas Law Offices.

Atty. Remollo obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1988 from the Ateneo de Manila Law School in Makati City whereat he was a scholar of the Miguel Luis Romero Foundation, a Dean’s Lister and a legal assistant of a reputed Law Firm. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Management ( cum laude ) from Silliman University in 1983, the oldest American university in Asia, where he was an academic scholar and an active student leader and community youth organizer. He is an awardee of the WHO'S WHO IN THE PHILIPPINES for Law and Judiciary. He was also awarded the Dr. Jose Rizal Hall of Fame for Law and Judiciary. He used to be the Vice-President of the Christian Legal Society of the Philippines and a member of the Ateneo Law Foundation, Inc. and of the Aquila Legis Fraternity, Inc. He used to be a regular resource guest of a national television program on illegal recruitment and labor disputes and gave free legal advices over various radio programs.

Mr. John Paul Stoken
VP for International Operations

Mr. John P. Stoken is a Director of Kennedy Global School of Business; Inc. He represents KGSBI as Vice President for International Affairs in the United States.

He has broad knowledge and experience internationally and in the U.S., having served as Vice President of Marketing, Regional and Claims Manager, as well as developing and promoting his own business as an Independent Consultant. Mr. Stoken contracts with several prominent U.S. and Foreign Companies such as Zurich American, Prudential Insurance Company and AIG, American Insurance Group.

He has successfully transferred his core business skills to the field of education, and in collaboration with Mrs. Kennedy, makes an invaluable contribution to the development of Kennedy Global School of Business, Inc.

Mr. Stoken received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech/Communications from Penn State University, University Park, State College Pennsylvania. He furthered his studies in Communications obtaining a Certification of NLP, Nero Linguistic Programming from Irvine College, Irvine California. He has also received accommodations for motivational speaking which have served him well previously as Board Member and fund raiser for Canterbury Educational Foundation, Montgomery Alabama, and the United Way Boys Club, Atlanta, Georgia.
